Update...

Ria and EllenLast year, MWJ's then-Editor Ria Biley wrote extensively about MammoSite, a new high dose radiation treatment for breast cancer she received at Maine Medical Center (MWJ, Fall/Holiday, 2006). Just before Christmas, Ria heard from Ellen Albrecht from Rangeley, and the two began a correspondence that ultimately led to Ellen's receiving the same treatment in January 2007. Both are currently cancer-free and finally met in person at MMC this past June.
